‘Tis the Season for Gaia worship

The Pope’s 2022 “Season of Creation” has just kicked off: it runs from September 1 to October 4th. Those dates are pretty handy for all the Wiccan nuns involved in the Church since the Spring/Autumn Equinox falls smack in the middle of the “Season”. But that’s just a coincidence.

Its theme is “Listen to the Voice of Creation”, which sounds like another Gnostic attempt at ‘discovering’ what God really wanted all along, diluting the Faith and getting us ready for the One World Religion.

The “Season” kicked off with a World Day of Prayer of which only the most obsequious parishes took any notice: the others were too preoccupied with trying to pay their utility bills.

The European bishops contributed by showing their devotion to The Science with an alarmist statement written in the style of Paul Erlich or Al Gore:

“Our own Europe has been faced with a genuine environmental catastrophe that, in 97% of cases, is attributable to the actions of man. In the 27 countries within the European Union, according to a recent estimate, fires have already devastated a total of 517,881 hectares since the beginning of the year, compared to 470,359 the previous year. Scholars are already hypothesising the transition from our era (Anthropocene) to the next one, to which they have already given the name “pyrocene”, the effects of which are already visible considering that CO2 emissions have reached levels that the planet has not known for well over 3 million years.

3 million years, eh? The author of Genesis might have something to say about that. Speaking of Moses, the symbol for this year’s Season is the burning bush. Its creators tell us why:

“Today, the prevalence of unnatural fires are a sign of the devastating effects that climate change has on the most vulnerable of our planet. Creation cries out as forests crackle, animals flee, and people are forced to migrate due to the fires of injustice.

They certainly have a thing about fire, don’t they? Then again, considering where most of them will be spending the afterlife, it’s no wonder that these heretics are predicting a “pyrocene” future.

Below is another little snippet from the “Season of Creation” website. I really don’t know what it means except that it isn’t helpful and it isn’t Catholic. It isn’t true, either, since the voices calling for “protection of the Earth from anthropogenic climate change” are among the loudest in society these days. Muted, on the other hand, are the voices of traditional and faithful Catholics.

During the COVID-19 pandemic, many have become familiar with the concept of being muted in conversations. Many voices are muted in public discourse around climate change and the ethics of Earth-keeping.

These are voices of those who suffer the impacts of climate change. These are voices of people who hold generational wisdom about how to live gratefully within the limits of the land. These are voices of a diminishing diversity of more-than-human species. It is the voice of the Earth.

If Bergoglio had put as much effort into promoting the concerns of the Holy Trinity as he has to promoting Gaia, the Church – and he world – would be in a much better place.

Pope: Sweet song of praise for Creation has become 'anguished plea'

Paglia: Italy’s abortion law is a ‘pillar of society”

They said it would never happen – “they” being the Feting Francis Fan Club.

“They” said the Vatican’s sodo-clerics would never abandon the Church’s teaching on the sanctity of life. How wrong they were.

One of his closest (and most effeminate) allies, Archbishop Vincenzo Paglia, President of the Pontifical Academy for Life, has told media that the Catholic Church doesn’t want to get rid of the Italian law which legalises abortion.

Referring to the child-killing Law 194 as a “pillar of our social life”, Paglia then went on to say something vaguely Catholic about problems with the declining birth rate.

TOO LATE, YOUR GRACE. The cat is out of the bag. You are not pro-life.

Commenting on the abomination, Archbishop Vigano said,

It is emblematic and revealing that the sect of apostates who infest the Catholic Hierarchy and have occupied its highest levels find themselves aligned with the ideological positions of the enemies of Christ, not only on issues that are seemingly unconnected – like the psychopandemic narrative and green ideology – but also in the denial of the very foundations of the Natural Law, including respect for life from conception to natural death.

Archbishop Carlo Maria Vigano

Speaking of abominations, no reference to Paglia would be complete without remembering what he said after Roe vs Wade and Dobbs laws were aborted. At that time, Paglia issued a statement on behalf of the Pontifical Academy for Life saying that “It is not right that the problem (of abortion) is set aside without adequate overall consideration.

Meaning that it is not right that the Supreme Court should strike down an abortion law.

Because – and this is his main objection to child sacrifice – abortion is bad for the economy.

Demographic suicide = bad. Killing babies = a pillar of society.

You can’t have it both ways, Your Grace. the more frivolous among us might suggest that you pick a side, but unfortunately, the side you have chosen is all too obvious.

NEOM proves that the world is not overpopulated

Some Saudi Arabian overlords have designed this ultra-modern, if not dystopian, mega-city to house up to 9 million people., as part of their futuristic NEOM project.

Although is has a few drawbacks (ie it is full of high-tech surveillance and will be run by misogynistic Islamists, people will be relying on bugs and lab-grown meat for their food, and non-elites will never see the outside world) the project does prove one thing: that planet earth, as created by God the Father, has plenty of room for billions upon billions of human beings.

Repeat after me:

The world is not overpopulated.

The world is not overpopulated.

The world is not overpopulated.

This French Mystic predicted the Adrenochrome trade

Blessed Marie-Julie Jahenny is well-known for her prophecies about the rise of a false Church and the Three Days’ Darkness, but a newly-released book on Marian prophecies includes rare predictions from the mystic which seemingly include references to cannibalism and the adrenochrome trade.

…today it [the world] makes a hellish trade, the likes of which the world has never seen before … All is delivered up, everything is sold and new plots are being hatched every day. The hunger to devour human flesh, the thirst for human blood makes all their bodies seethe with unrest, and consumed with a desire to reach their goal as soon as possible.

(Nov 1924)

Fairly graphic, isn’t it?

It is clear that Marie-Julie was given a premonition of something more than mere organ harvesting, or even of industrial scale organ trafficking trade, such as the one which has become institutionalised in China. She spoke of the “devouring” of human flesh and of the drinking of human blood.

This points to a civilisation on the brink of extinction; Hilaire Belloc believed cannibalism was the sign of a civilisation about to be annihilated. That certainly sounds like our Western culture.

When the New York Times starts running articles about cannibalism, then some red flags certainly start a-flying.

Marie-Julie had some inspirations about other aspects of our civilisation’s decline, as if to confirm the abysmal state of this evil generation. She foresaw a totalitarian society complete with surveillance and detention, as well as a return to the use of the guillotine – that highly-favoured implement of French revolutionaries:

The strong political party will be the one of evil’s victory … the small number will fall under the thunder of these voices who call for the blood and the flesh of bodies to “stretch their instruments” as they say. The Christian judges will be replaced in every part of France. The people will have to submit to surveillers or being sent to prison and finish one’s life under cutting weapons.

(Jan 1882)

I have no idea about what “stretching their instruments” refers to, but when searching, I came across a technique used in genetic experimentation known as “stretching”. Whether or not this is related to the prophesy, there is no doubt that many of the chastisements seen by Marie-Julie Jahenny stem from the world’s obsession with Scientism and that realm’s fascination with cells stolen from aborted babies.

As she said, “the world makes a hellish trade.” And nothing is more hellish than powerful adults misusing innocent children.

Whether you believe that adrenochrome is a real substance harvested by elites from terrified children, or whether you think it is Q-Anon bunkum, one thing is for sure: a hundred years ago, Blessed Marie-Julie Jahenny predicted that one day, a gruesome trade would be conducted on earth, to supply depraved customers with human flesh and blood. If that isn’t worthy of a divine intervention, then nothing is.

Spooky start to the Plenary Council?

Now, am I just imagining it or did something rather spooky take place during that quaint little pagan ritual preceding the Plenary’s Opening Mass?

You’ve probably already seen the video – an indigenous woman opened proceedings with an acknowledgement of the Cathedral site’s previous inhabitants, who were of course, itinerant and somehow forgot to mention those other former residents of the area – the Irish, English, Italian, Chinese, Polish, Tongan, New Zealand and so on who helped build our nation.

She went on to lecture the Catholics present about their need to learn from Aboriginal spirituality. Just as she mentioned that she was stolen from her family by the “Catholic Church” – note, not by members of that Church, who may well have been rescuing the unfortunate woman from a life of abuse – the altar cloth blew up quite noticeably, before falling back to its former vertical position.

“Listen to what the spirit is saying.”
“No, seriously. Listen.”

The video of the livestream can be found here (spookiness at around the 12 minute mark). Of course, I may be being too imaginative. (One can get away with such things on an anonymous website, after all.) Perhaps it is the talk of “male and female spirits” that has me on edge. I can imagine all those Plenary participants being exposed to demons, and then returning to the chanceries around the country with some (extra) evil spirits in tow. Or maybe it is the thought of all that smoke, “wafting through the entrance” to the church, which has been offered to devils instead of the pleasing scent of incense which should have risen up to honour the Holy Trinity.

There is another question to be asked: precisely who would even want to watch a livestream of the Plenary’s Masses? The entire event is completely irrelevant to most Catholics, who have far more important things to do than watch their hard-earned offerings being squandered on an unholy talkfest.

Just in case anyone was in doubt about the order being established at the 2nd session: the Plenary candle was lit FROM the smoking ceremony flame. That makes the PAGAN light the SOURCE of CHRISTIANITY’S light.

In her little speech, the woman makes the unusual claim that her DNA “predates Australia.” Well, it’s likely that the DNA of many people contains genetic markers that are older than that.

But, consider this: one needs to retrace only twenty generations to find that we all have ancestors in common. And another fifteen generations takes us all back to a common family.

So Adam and Eve being our common parents, we are all of the same family. My ancestors just happened to have come via Europe. And they brought some pretty fine technology, culture and philosophy along with them. Perhaps that is the acknowledgment that needs to be promulgated from now on – although I have a feeling the Plenary won’t get behind that idea. It’s simply too Christian..

Instead, the PC (political correctness) Assembly seems committed to implementing its predetermined agenda, come hell or high water. And with all those demons invited onto the sanctuary, hell is what it’s most likely to get.

Archbishop Vigano’s extraordinary interview with Steve Bannon

Well, I think it’s extraordinary, anyway.

A prince of the Church, a man cut from the same cloth as St Peter, opines on the Great Reset, its connection with the Bergoglian pontificate and a future time of peace. It makes for wonderful reading, and I’ve included a few highlights here. [The full interview is here.]

In some of your other statements, you have spoken of a “golpe bianco” (a “silent coup”).

A “silent coup” is a coup d’état that takes place without the use of force, carried out by a government that exercises power in an unconstitutional way.

In this case the coup was carried out in all the Western nations almost simultaneously, beginning with the first years of the 1990s. For Italy, this coup began with the divestment of investee companies and the privatization of services that normally burdened the treasury, such as health and transportation services, following the directives given by high finance to Mario Draghi on June 2, 1992, on the yacht Britannia. Yes, Mario Draghi, who at the time was General Director of the Ministry of the Treasury and whom then-President of the Italian Republic Francesco Cossiga called a “cowardly businessman.” In other nations this coup took place in an analogous way, with a series of progressive transfers of sovereignty to supra-national entities like the European Commission, the European Central Bank, the International Monetary Fund, and the World Bank. With the introduction of the euro [in 2002], monetary sovereignty was removed from the nations adhering to the Maastricht Treaty, transferring it to the European Central Bank, which is a private bank. This bank decides the rate with which it finances national budgets, using money that these same nations have already given it. In practice, the European Central Bank demands interest on money that it only returns a penny at a time, and only on certain conditions: reforms, cuts in public spending, the imposition of laws promoting gender equality, abortion rights, the indoctrination of children, etc. The introduction of a balanced budget requirement into the [Italian] Constitution – as if the State was a company – was also part of the silent coup.

All the members of these bodies, including the same rulers who have been appointed at the recommendation of non-elected powers or have succeeded in winning election thanks to the manipulation of information, are at the same time the servants of high finance power groups or of large investment funds – some were their employees, such as Draghi of Goldman Sachs – others became employees after their term ended. Just like the drug agencies and health organizations are composed of former BigPharma employees, who often receive consulting contracts and who are paid by the very pharmaceutical companies they are supposed to be keeping an eye on.

Up until the pandemic, power was in practice still managed at least formally by individual nations, and laws were passed by Parliaments. But for the last two years, the Parliaments have been deprived of authority, and all those whom the World Economic Forum and other lobbies have succeeded in placing at the high levels of governments and international institutions have begun to legislate against the Constitution and the interests of the Nation, obeying orders given to them from on high – “from the markets,” they tell us – which in fact is made up of a very small number of multinational corporations that engulf competing companies, flatten professional skills with damage to the quality of the product, and reduce the protection and wages of workers thanks to the complicity of unions and of the Left.

In short, we are governed by a high command of usurers and speculators, from Bill Gates who invests in large farms right on the eve of the food emergency or in vaccines just before the outbreak of the pandemic, to George Soros, who speculates on the fluctuations of currencies and government bondsand along with Hunter Biden finances a bio-laboratory in Ukraine.

To think that there is no relationship between the instigators of these crimes and those who carry them out at the highest levels of national governments, the EU, and the UN is a sign of bad faith, because even a child could understand that we are held hostage by a group of technocrats who are ideologically deviant and morally corrupt. The peoples of the world need to reclaim their sovereignty, which has been usurped by the globalist elite.

The instigators of this crime show themselves proudly at the Davos Forum, at meetings of the Trilateral Commission or the Bilderberg Group along with the rulers, prime ministers, directors of newspapers and television broadcasters, CEOs of social bankers and directors of social platforms and multinational corporations, bankers and directors of ratings agencies, presidents of foundations and self-styled philanthropists. All of these share the same agenda – which they publish on their websites – and are so confident in their own power that they affirm it with impunity – as Soros and Schwab have recently done – that it is necessary to create a narrative to be conveyed through the mainstream media, in order to make their decisions acceptable to the people. They embrace censorship and mass manipulation as instrumentum regni, and we have had proof of this both with the pandemic farce as well as with the pro-Zelensky propaganda in Ukraine.

We must understand that our rulers are traitors of our Nation who are devoted to the elimination of populations, and that all of their actions are carried out in order to cause the greatest amount of harm to citizens. It is not a problem of inexperience or inability but rather of an intentio nocendi – a deliberate intention to harm. Honest citizens find it inconceivable that those who govern them could do it with the perverse intention of undermining and destroying them, so much so that they find it very hard to believe. The main cause of this very serious problem is found in the corruption of authority along with the resigned obedience of those who are governed.

The Catholic Church also, beginning with the revolution of Vatican II and above all during the last nine years of the Bergoglian “pontificate,” has experienced the same cognitive dissonance: the faithful and the Clergy have resigned themselves to obeying mere cynical officials – who are no less corrupt and perverted than their counterparts in the deep state – although it has been evident that the purpose of the alleged “reforms” has always been the systematic destruction of the Church by its highest leaders, who are heretics and traitors. And I note that the deep church has had recourse to the same false arguments in order to pass off the doctrinal, moral, and liturgical dissolution: first of all, the false contention that those reforms were requested “from the ground up” and not imposed with force from on high. Just like the reforms planned by the World Economic Forum, the Bilderberg group, and the Trilateral are adopted by their infiltrators in the highest levels of nations and international organisms, making it appear that their plans are ratified by popular consent.

Is there any analogy between what is happening in the Catholic Church under the pontificate of Jorge Mario Bergoglio?

The deep church is an offshoot of the deep state, in a certain sense. For this reason it should not surprise us that we are witnessing the demolition of Faith and Morals in the name of ecumenism and synodality, applying liberal errors in the theological sphere; and on the other hand the transformation of the Papacy and the Roman Curia into a politburo in which ecclesiastical authority is both absolute and also released from its fidelity to the Magisterium, following the modalities of the exercise of power in a communist-type dictatorship. The law is no longer founded on Justice but rather on the convenience and utility of those who apply it: it is enough to see how harshly the clergy and faithful who are traditional are treated by the Vatican, and on the other hand with how much indulgence the Vatican praises notorious pro-abortion activists (I am thinking of Biden and Pelosi among the most striking cases) as well as the propagandists of LGBTQ ideology and gender theory. Here too, liberalism and communism have formed an alliance to demolish the institution from within, just as has happened in the civil sphere. But we know that contra legem fit, quod in fraudem legis fit – that which circumvents the law is done against the law.

Your Excellency, do you believe that the world can return to God?

The world can and must return to God: this is a necessity dictated by the divine order that the Creator has imprinted on creation. It must return to God, because only where Christ reigns can there by true justice and true peace. And the world can do this, but not in a collectivist or communitarian vision in which individuals disappear into the mass, but rather in a personal and individual vision, in which each one of us freely recognizes that nothing can be better than what Our Heavenly Father has prepared for us, since He loves us and wants to make us sharers in His glory.

If we all return to God, our Nations will also recognize His Lordship and will conform their laws to His Law. Let us pray therefore that what the Psalmist sings may be realized: Laudate Dominum omnes gentes; laudate eum omnes populi (Ps 116:1)– Praise the Lord, all you nations, praise him all you peoples. Quoniam confirmata est super nos misericordia ejus; et veritas Domini manet in æternum (Ps 116:2) – For his Mercy is confirmed upon us, and the Truth of the Lord remains forever.

Pelosi receives Communion at the Vatican

Fresh from encouraging the irate members of her pro-abortion coven to commit acts of violence and vandalism, Nancy Pelosi arrived in Rome a few days ago. A significant appointment on her agenda was celebrating the feast of Sts Peter and Paul by committing yet another egregious act of sacrilege at St Peter’s.

Although reports say that it was not the Pope who distributed the Eucharist to Pelosi, Bergoglio himself was in attendance at the Mass.

Previously, Pelosi had spoken at an event at the US Embassy in Rome, calling to mind one of her favourite rhetorical devices: invoking demonic spirituality (cloaked in Catholic imagery) to insult the Trinity.

Before the Mass, Pelosi had a talk with Bergoglio, at which she apparently received a blessing from him. After that, Pelosi went to a Francis-fave, the Sant’Egidio Community, and later handed over $25,000 in US-taxpayer money to the charity.

Perhaps the pontiff had run his new encyclical by Pelosi during their meeting. Part of it could have been written just for her:

” … everyone is invited to the supper of the wedding of the Lamb (Rev 19: 9). To be admitted to the feast all that is required is the wedding garment of faith which comes from the hearing of his Word (cf. Rom 10:17).” {Emphasis added.}

This novel take on admittance to the Holy Eucharist, seemed to have appealed to Pelosi. After all, during her address at the US Embassy, she remarked:

“Faith is an important gift, not everyone has it but it is the path to so many other things.”

A path to other things? Like that wide ol’ road to hell, Nancy?

Is Rome disappointed about the end of Roe vs Wade?

After the Roe vs wade was momentously overturned in the united states, The Pontifical Academy for Life issued a very strange statement.

Perhaps this is not so surprising when we remember that the Academies are no longer Catholic, being comprised of globalists, abortion advocates, sodomites and so on. The Pontifical Academy for Life is headed up by the pro-sodo Archbishop Paglia.

Some of the more questionable sections – apart from only one mention of the word, “abortion”: “After 50 years, it is important to reopen a non-ideological debate on the place that the protection of life has in a civil society to ask ourselves what kind of coexistence and society we want to build.” Hmmmm. A “non-ideological debate”? The Vatican doesn’t want those nasty prolife ideologues always insisting on sticking to Church teaching?

And this in direct violation of traditional Catholic teaching, “….adequate sexual education” and what is perhaps a nod to climate-driven depopulators:

” … a powerful invitation to reflect together on the serious and urgent issue of human generativity…”

I may have missed it, but did Pope Francis bother to mention this wonderful pro-life development at the World Meeting of Families?

“It is a time for healing wounds and repairing social divisions; it is a time for reasoned reflection and civil dialogue, and for coming together to build a society and economy that supports marriages and families, and where every woman has the support and resources she needs to bring her child into this world in love.”

The Court’s opinion shows how the issue of abortion continues to arouse heated debate. The fact that a large country with a long democratic tradition has changed its position on this issue also challenges the whole world. It is not right that the problem is set aside without adequate overall consideration. The protection and defense of human life is not an issue that can remain confined to the exercise of individual rights but instead is a matter of broad social significance. After 50 years, it is important to reopen a non-ideological debate on the place that the protection of life has in a civil society to ask ourselves what kind of coexistence and society we want to build.

It is a question of developing political choices that promote conditions of existence in favor of life without falling into a priori ideological positions. This also means ensuring adequate sexual education, guaranteeing health care accessible to all and preparing legislative measures to protect the family and motherhood, overcoming existing inequalities. We need solid assistance to mothers, couples and the unborn child that involves the whole community, encouraging the possibility for mothers in difficulty to carry on with the pregnancy and to entrust the child to those who can guarantee the child’s growth.

Archbishop Paglia said: “in the face of Western society that is losing its passion for life, this act is a powerful invitation to reflect together on the serious and urgent issue of human generativity and the conditions that make it possible; by choosing life, our responsibility for the future of humanity is at stake”.

Vatican City, June 24, 2022

The Vatican’s music choices leave much to be desired

Someone in the Curia has a very sick sense of humour: whoever it is thought Leonard Cohen’s Hallelujah would be an appropriate way to begin the tenth World Meeting of Families in Rome.

Now, in case you’re labouring under the false assumption that Leonard Cohen’s Hallelujah has some redeeming Christian qualities to it, please study the lyrics. The melody is, of course, very soothing and beautiful, but the title does seem to have fooled many Catholics into thinking this is some kind of statement of faith on the part of Cohen.

On the contrary, Cohen, who died in 2016, rejected the idea of formal religion, presumedly because its demands were too high. Cohen said of Hallelujah:

“This world is full of conflicts and full of things that cannot be reconciled. But there are moments when we can… reconcile and embrace the whole mess, and that’s what I mean by ‘Hallelujah’.

The song explains that many kinds of hallelujahs do exist, and all the perfect and broken hallelujahs have equal value. It’s a desire to affirm my faith in life, not in some formal religious way but with enthusiasm, with emotion.”

If you’ve never read the lyrics to Hallelujah, then scroll to the bottom of the page.

However, the performance of that song pales into insignificance beside the presence of a very strange choir who entertained Francis earlier in June.

A group of women known as the F*** Cancer choir performed for the Pope at a General Audience. Their t-shirts were emblazoned with “F*** Cancer” (yes, the entire word) surmounting a clenched fist.

The Pope smiled his way through the performance, telling the choir-members afterwards that they were “good” and “poets.” As Reuters exclaimed, “The F-word made its debut” at the Vatican. Charming. Another first for Francis.

HALLELUJAH

I’ve heard there was a secret chord
That David played, and it pleased the Lord
But you don’t really care for music, do you?
It goes like this
The fourth, the fifth
The minor fall, the major lift
The baffled king composing Hallelujah

Hallelujah x 4

Your faith was strong but you needed proof
You saw her bathing on the roof
Her beauty in the moonlight overthrew you
She tied you to a kitchen chair
She broke your throne, and she cut your hair
And from your lips she drew the Hallelujah

Hallelujah x 4

Baby I have been here before
I know this room, I’ve walked this floor
I used to live alone before I knew you.
I’ve seen your flag on the marble arch
Love is not a victory march
It’s a cold and it’s a broken Hallelujah

Hallelujah x 4

There was a time when you let me know
What’s really going on below
But now you never show it to me, do you?
And remember when I moved in you
The holy dove was moving too
And every breath we drew was Hallelujah

Hallelujah x 4

Maybe there’s a God above
But all I’ve ever learned from love
Was how to shoot at someone who outdrew you
It’s not a cry you can hear at night
It’s not somebody who has seen the light
It’s a cold and it’s a broken Hallelujah

Hallelujah x 4

You say I took the name in vain
I don’t even know the name
But if I did, well, really, what’s it to you?
There’s a blaze of light in every word
It doesn’t matter which you heard
The holy or the broken Hallelujah

Hallelujah x 4

I did my best, it wasn’t much
I couldn’t feel, so I tried to touch
I’ve told the truth, I didn’t come to fool you
And even though it all went wrong
I’ll stand before the Lord of Song
With nothing on my tongue but Hallelujah

Hallelujah x 17

Poisoning the young at the Vatican

The Vatican played host to a youth festival on Easter Monday, inviting a bizarre rock star to entertain thousands of confused young Catholics prior to a prayer meeting led by the Pope. It was organised by the Italian Bishops Conference (you know, that outfit who thought this design was appropriate for a church) and Italy’s National Youth Pastoral Service.

The theme of the day was “#Follow Me”: the hashtag attests to its hipness, no doubt, and although it was meant to inspire young Catholics to “find their way and vocation in life”, it’s hard to see an event like this leading them anywhere other than to hell.

One presenter for the concert was an Italian media star renowned for her “heart-attack necklines” and pornographic Instagram feed. But the main event was Riccardo Fabbriconi, aka Blanco, a crossdressing rapper and pop singer.

Blanco at the Vatican. Nero is more like it.
One news outlet lauded his ‘courage’ for exposing his tattoos

Blanco sang his current hit, Blu Celeste, supposedly written to honour a dead friend of his. The music video is somewhat alarming, as Blanco appears in his underwear, in the centre of a circle of flames. It is reminiscent of a magic circle, the symbol beloved of witches and occultists who perform their rituals inside, believing themselves to be protected from ‘negative forces’. What else could you expect from a guy whose first words as a baby were allegedly to curse his parents?

“This will impress the kidz!”

While Fr Michelle Falabretti, spokesman for the Bishops Conference, called the singer “a gift” to the young people, some of the bishops weren’t so sure. But Falabretti tried to reassure them:

“… the context is very important. Woe to underestimate it! You risk not being on the same wavelength. (Oh, the horror.) The singer who at this moment attracts the very young most of all, means creating the conditions for mutual dialogue and listening. (Yep, he said that.) You need to know who they are, try to understand that inner world whose features the artists interpret and make explicit. And Blanco, with his lyrics that tell of hardships, hopes and wounds, gives voice to the anxieties and moods of the boys, (?) perhaps not of all, but certainly of many.”

At least he remembered to cover his chest this time.
On their way to the after-party at Coccopalmerio’s?

And what did Bergoglio have to say about all this? Not much. He just rambled on about the war, the flames of which his WEF buddies are busily fanning. But hey, who really cares? The kids were there for the concert, and not there for the Pope uttering some half-truths about Catholicism.

Actually, maybe Bergoglio could take some tips from Blanco when it comes to sharing the Faith: after all, the singer doesn’t hold back when it comes to showing the god to which he gives his allegiance.
